Patented Up-Flow Design: Liquid enters inlet at bottom of filter, flows upward through cartridges past top seal which separates dirty and clean water chambers, then down standpipe to exit. Because top of standpipe is located above top seal, air is self-purged from filter (No need for vents: improved filter efficiency). Designed for use on main water line in schools, large homes, office buildings, apartment complexes, hotels & motels, Laundromats, campgrounds, and mobile home parks
- Lids feature studs with hand-tight able bronze wing nuts;
- Pressure-rated to 150 psi and hydrostatically tested
- "Cartridge Cluster" lifters for easy installation, removal & service.
- Uses multiples of standard 9-3/4" cartridges.
